Synopsis

This is a documentary on the emergence of female talking drummers in the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria in West Africa. It is the tradition in Yoruba land for men alone to play the talking drum but these women are breaking gender and cultural limitations to fulfill their dreams of playing the drum without prejudice.
