Seeking Vision

Synopsis

Aziza Baccouche, a BLIND, African American, Theoretical Nuclear Physicist and Filmmaker fights to survive her fifth brain surgery. Blinded by a brain tumor at eight, immigrating to the US from Tunisia a disabled minority may be daunting to most, not to Aziza. She believes her strengths lay, “beyond the cane.” Wheeled into possibly her final surgery, she continues to inspire minorities and the blind to reach for their dreams using her life an example that, “it does not take sight to have vision.”
